David J. Wright

David Wright received his BA from Holy Cross, MA from the University of Arizona, and his PhD from Rutgers. His research interests include Augustan poetry, classical reception, and monsters. He has published on a wide variety of topics, including Anna Perenna, images of Scylla on the coins of Sextus Pompey, and the goddess Thetis. David also passionately uses ancient texts and material culture to encourage discussions about contemporary issues of social justice. His current book project examines Giants and Titans in Greco-Roman literature.
