4th Atmospheric Oxygen
Workshop

Please join us for the 4th Workshop on Atmospheric Oxygen!

The workshop will be held as an in-person gathering August 23-25, 2023 on the campus of Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine (USA). It will also be possible to observe the meeting via live-stream. Details can be found below. For full consideration, please complete the free registration form no later than May 5, 2023.

We encourage participation by any scientists with an interest in atmospheric oxygen, or other species relevant to atmospheric oxygen. Instrumentation, measurements and model studies are all welcome. If you have doubts about the appropriateness of your topic for this workshop, please feel free to ask one of the organizers.

While you may view the meeting remotely via live-stream, only in-person participants will be able to present their work. We hope this encourages you to come to Maine for a lively meeting with many opportunities for unstructured interactions and spontaneous conversations. Please join us for a stimulating (and overdue) gathering.

Lodging

We have held blocks of rooms at the Brunswick Hotel (call to ask for the workshop rate), and also the Fairfield Inn & Suites.  If you would like to explore other options in Brunswick and beyond, some information is available here. During the meeting, we will provide a van service for attendees who are staying in Brunswick but beyond walking distance, so that a car will not be a necessity. We encourage you to make lodging reservations soon, as demand will be very high at time of year, particularly on the night of August 21.  If you need help with lodging, please contact Emily Green (egreen@bowdoin.edu).
