John Galusha, who goes by Galush, will be traveling to Toronto, Canada, May 24 to compete in the Great North Beatbox Battle, with support from a Grua/O’Connell mini-grant through Student Fellowships and Research. He’s qualified for the Top 8 Loopstation Battle, contending for the North American championship title. A Bowdoin football player, Galusha is a music major and gender and women’s studies minor.
