From Sun Valley, Idaho, Adicoff finished second in the 10-kilometer cross-country ski races for visually impaired athletes, with a time of 24:31.3. His guide was Sawyer Kesselheim, 25.
Adicoff also finished fourth in the 1.5k sprint classic Nordic race, and fifth in the 20k freestyle event in Pyeongchang.
The U.S. Paralympic Nordic Skiing Team, which claimed a total of six gold medals, seven silvers, and three bronzes, also came in seventh in the 4×2.5-kilometer mixed relay. Adicoff and Kesselheim made up the anchor leg for the team’s 26-minute finish.
Adicoff, who first competed in the Paralympics in Sochi four years ago, is a 2011 recipient of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Dave Quinn Award, which honors athletes who exemplify the ideals of cross-country skiing, including a love of the sport, a strong work ethic, and overcoming hardship.
