Congregation Connection

Many students enrich their time at Bowdoin by connecting with some of the many religious and spiritual congregations in our local community.

While Bowdoin celebrates the rich diversity of religions reflected in our student body, the college is not a religious institution. We encourage our students to form relationships with the many congregations and denominations that serve Midcoast Maine. Whether you are looking for a spiritual home to nurture your growth, or if you are curious to learn more about another tradition, the congregations listed here have a history of welcoming members of the Bowdoin community.

Want to see your congregation featured here? Need to have your congregation's listing updated or removed? Updates will be considered on a case-by-case basis; please email director Oliver Goodrich with your update.
