Updates to COVID-19 Employee Resources Page 
Human Resources’ COVID-19 Employee Resources page for faculty and staff has been updated for the Spring 2022 semester. Two new flowcharts outline detailed information about how to proceed in these COVID-19 situations:    
Antigen Test Reimbursement 
Beginning January 15, Cigna, the College’s medical insurance carrier, will reimburse employees for the cost of tests purchased at local retail pharmacies (Walgreens, Walmart, CVS, etc.). If you have mild symptoms or if you have been a close contact of a person who has tested positive for COVID-19, you may also antigen test at the south entrance to Farley Field House, Monday–Friday between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.    
PCR Testing for week of January 17 
There will be no PCR testing on Monday, January 17, due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. PCR testing next week will be as follows:  
  • Wednesday, January 19, 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.  
  • Saturday, January 22, 12:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.

President Rose shares thoughts on the College’s approach to the challenges of COVID-19 going forward in this message to students, faculty, and staff, sent January 10

COVID-19 Spring Semester Guidance 
President Rose’s message (above) followed guidance sent by COVID-19 Resource Coordinator Mike Ranen detailing the College's plans for arrival week and the spring semester, including prearrival and arrival testing, classes, the booster requirement, proper masks, current guidance and restrictions information, ongoing PCR testing, isolation procedures for those who test positive, athletics, dining, student programming and activities, travel, visitor, and academic and administrative building and room occupancy.  

Information for Faculty and Staff Returning to Campus This Week
Information for returning faculty and staff regarding at-home antigen tests, PCR tests, masks, and uploading booster information was sent January 7

Reporting Previous or Current COVID-19 Results (Ranen)—January 17, 2022
Mike Ranen provided guidance on what students should do if they have tested positive for COVID-19 since winter break began.

Next Week's Booster Clinic (Ranen)—January 14, 2022
Mike Ranen wrote to share information about the free COVID-19 booster clinic happening at Farley Field House on Wednesday, Janaury 19, from 8:00 a.m. to noon. The clinic is open to the broader community, so he encouraged people to registrater shortly after the MaineHealth Epic portal opens to book appointments at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, January 18.
