Eliza Burwell

Clinical Social Worker - Conditionally Licensed (University of New England)

Eliza (she/her) received her MSW from University of New England with a certificate in Trauma-Informed Care after graduating from Hamilton College.  Previously, she worked as an advocate for survivors of domestic and sexual violence throughout Southern Maine which informs her work here at Bowdoin. She works from a strengths-based, trauma-informed perspective and draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy. Outside of Bowdoin, you can find her hiking in the White Mountains or at the yoga studio.
