Christina Finneran

Senior Vice President for Institutional Research, Analytics, and Consulting
Tina has been at Bowdoin since 2004. Prior to her current role, she worked in the Information Technology Division consulting with faculty on various technologies and creating the communication and training plans for major enterprise system deployments. Before coming to Bowdoin, Tina spent ten years working in geographic information systems, conducting geographic analysis for federal agencies and implementing systems. In her graduate work, Tina studied qualitative and quantitative research methods, survey methodology, and automated analytical techniques such as natural language processing and machine learning. Tina earned her undergraduate degree at Cornell University, a master’s degree in geography at the University of Buffalo, and a master’s degree in library science and her Ph.D. in information science and technology at Syracuse University.
