Research Analyst
Chloe has worked at Bowdoin since 2021. As a research analyst, Chloe manages all aspects of institutional surveys and utilizes diverse research and analytical techniques to draw data-based insights for stakeholders across the college. Before coming to Bowdoin, Chloe has taught and conducted research on food security, sustainable foods, and cross-national environmental concern at Michigan State University, where she received training on mixed-methods research including advanced statistical techniques such as Simultaneous Equation Modeling (SEM) and Hierarchical Linear Modeling (HLM). Chloe earned her undergraduate degree in international journalism and communication from Beijing Foreign Studies University in China, a master's degree in communication from the University of Maine and a Ph.D. in sociology from Michigan State University.
