220th Convocation (August 18, 2021)

I cordially invite you to attend, and I hope that you will be able to be part of the official start to this academic year.Our faculty speaker will be Professor of Art Carrie Scanga, whose talk is titled “Community in Creative Process.”

Those with academic regalia are encouraged to march in the procession, which will form at 3:15 p.m. in front of Searles Science Building. We will have a full audience in Pickard for this event, and we are requiring face coverings for all attendees. 

Immediately following Convocation, please join Julianne and me on the lawn of Cleaveland House (75 Federal Street) for a reception to welcome new faculty and staff. We look forward to seeing all of you there.
