On September 20, 2018, more than 500 Bowdoin alumni from the last 10 class years attended 18 Welcome to the City happy hours around the world.
These 18 happy hours occurred in Austin, Boston, Burlington, Vermont, Chicago, Denver, Hartford, Los Angeles, New Haven, New York, Philadelphia, Portland ME, Portland OR, San Francisco, San Diego, Seattle, Tokyo, and Washington, D.C. Bowdoin, in collaboration with other NESCAC schools, produced these happy hours from the West Coast to the East coast and beyond to usher in fall. These gatherings offered alumni the opportunity to connect with fellow Bowdoin alumni and create new connections with alumni from other NESCAC schools. Attendees shared laughs, stories, and trips down memory lane over appetizers and drinks. Be sure to attend one in a city near you next fall!
