A North Carolina cardiologist is pushing his body to the limit to help his patients. Dr. Ted Frank ’86 is hoping to raise $25,000 by running five marathons in five days starting Sunday, November 12, 2017, as reported by Spectrum News.

Frank wants to raise awareness about the need for organ donors and to provide financial help to patients in need of transplant. Joining him for parts of the run will be two family members—sister Nina Frank ’83, and her daughter Phoebe Kranefuss ’16.
