New York City Welcomes the Class of 2021 at Central Park on August 12

On Saturday, August 12th New York City Polar Bears attended the annual Lobster Picnic and Summer Send-Off event held on the Great Hill in Central Park. It was another memorable event and despite the wet forecast, the sun came out and more than 100 alumni, parents, current students, friends and families attended.

Guests enjoyed a picnic-style lunch catered by Luke’s Lobster (co-founded by Bryan Holden ’09). The members of the incoming Class of 2021 participated in a fun ice breaker activity while their families chatted with seasoned alumni and current students to get tips on arrival day. The day resulted in new friendships, answered questions, and increased excitement for the trip to Brunswick in a few short weeks.
