Bowdoin Fellows Focus on Maine’s Food System
More Bowdoin students are expressing a desire to both better understand and support local food systems. Reflecting this interest, a relatively significant of students this year (at least seven) have summertime fellowships from Bowdoin to work in some way with Maine’s food economy. While their projects are diverse, and include both research projects and farming internships, all the students share an interest in improving our food system to decrease hunger or to help the environment.
