Students Get Ready for Ivies — With Sparkles, Beads, Patches and Prints
On the Tuesday before Ivies weekend, the Women’s Resource Center and Bowdoin Craft Center set up a temporary fashion house in Morrell Lounge, putting out a wealth of used clothing purchased from Salvation Army. Also on offer were colorful patches, paints, scissors, needles and thread, hot glue, and assorted sparkly accoutrements to inspire students to make unique fashions for the upcoming Ivies celebration.
