Physics and Astronomy Faculty Write Letter to Trump for Climate Change

In January 2017, two Bowdoin physics professors assisted in writing a letter to President Donald Trump (then President-elect) requesting him to undertake climate change as a top priority.

In January 2017, two Bowdoin physics professors assisted in writing a letter to President Donald Trump (then President-elect) requesting him to undertake climate change as a top priority. Over 700 physics and astronomy professors across the nation signed the letter.

The letter was composed by Bowdoin associate professor of physics, Mark Battle, Bowdoin professor of physics, Madeleine Msall, and associate professor, Paul Nakroshis from the University of Southern Maine.

Additionally, the professors have been tweeting from an account with the handle @Physics4Climate.
