Video: Students Celebrate a Green World at Greenstock Festival

Every September, at the annual Greenstock festival on Coe Quad, Bowdoin students celebrate with live music, ice cream, and an outdoor picnic put on by Dining. The zero-waste festival promotes environmental awareness, and includes green-themed information tables and activities. Students who bring their bikes get free tune-ups.

Student bands performing at this year’s festival included Taiko, Pulse, Accept the Mystery, BOKA, Gotta Focus, and Duck Blind.

The fair was co-sponsored by Green Bowdoin, Bowdoin Music Collective, Bowdoin Student Government, Sustainable Bowdoin, and Student Activities.

The band providing the video’s soundtrack is Gotta Focus, performing a song written by Dave Ruuska ’17.
