In Case of Emergency

As always, please call Campus Safety and Security at (207) 725-3314 in an emergency if you are on campus, or call 9-1-1 if you are in the United States off-campus. Find more information on what to do in a crisis.

Our after-hours crisis counseling service that Bowdoin uses will be in operation for the duration of the academic year and is a resource for all students experiencing a mental health crisis. This can be accessed by calling the Counseling Center phone at 207-725-3145.

Accessing other crisis resources: you can find urgent care units, hospitals and community clinics in your immediate area who offer care for urgent mental health issues as they come up.
