Bowdoin Remembers 9/11 Anniversary with Solemn Observation

Amid campus observances of the 10th anniversary of the September 11 attacks was a noontime gathering at the flagpole on the edge of the Quad adjacent to the Museum of Art and Gibson Hall.

The Chapel's chimes rang "America the Beautiful" and "The Star Spangled Banner," and in between, President Mills delivered remarks and led those gathered in a moment of silence.
