Death of a King, the latest art exhibition by Shaun El C. Leonardo '01, opened October 21 at the Praxis International Art Gallery in New York City.

The artist’s first solo show at the Praxis Gallery depicts a warrior who has survived the apocalypse.

The series of drawn and painted self-portraits impart the artist’s complex notions of masculinity and identity.

Death of a King also includes a wall graphic designed by students in this semester's Senior Seminar Art Class, which is led by A. LeRoy Greason Professor of Art Mark Wethli who also helped orchestrate the exhibition.

Rori Cremer ’11, Evan Farley ’11, Laura Magee ’11 and Allie Wilkinson ’11 participated in the project and traveled to New York to help in the exhibition's installation.
