Bowdoin's tee times have been increasing in frequency of late. College T-shirts have cropped up in the media twice in the last month or so, in addition to several more in the past year.
As part of a lengthy profile in the May 3, 2010, issue of Fortune magazine, Jes Staley '79, college trustee and chief executive of the investment bank at JPMorgan Chase, is pictured running in Manhattan wearing a Bowdoin T-shirt. Read the article.

In the March 31 episode ("Sympathy for the Parents") of the hit ABC television series Grey's Anatomy, Dr. Derek "McDreamy" Shepherd sports a Bowdoin tee — and not for the first time — as sleepwear.

Earlier in the current television season, another popular television show, AMC's Mad Men, featured another Bowdoin T-shirt — this one worn by the character Suzanne Farrell as she jogged in the October 11, 2009, episode, "Wee Small Hours."
Yet another T-shirt, this one included in the ABC News photo gallery, "Barack Obama Behind the Scenes," is worn by Richard Bland '95, director of federal government relations for the YMCA, as he plays basketball with the president at Camp David.
