Kate Hourihan '07, who was a Bowdoin Outing Club leader and an instructor for the BOC Telemark Program, freed her heels to a fourth place finish in the finals of the 2010 Crested Butte U.S. Extreme Freeskiing Telemark Championships in Colorado last month.
Kate (in pink pants) wore a video camera, and Telemark Skier magazine included footage of her near-podium run in their highlight video.
