In the wake of the earthquake in Haiti, the Bowdoin for Haiti Organizing Committee is joining clubs, organizations, departments, community members and businesses in hosting Bowdoin for Haiti Action Week February 20-27, 2010.

The week is packed with activities including concerts, lectures, film screenings, dinners and more.

Campus organizations have come together to co-sponsor events such as community collaborations, athletic events and educational activities to raise funds for and awareness about the crisis in Haiti.
The Bowdoin for Haiti Organizing Committee's purpose is to assist student groups in coordinating and publicizing their own events, encourage collaboration among groups, and facilitate a joint effort in fundraising for relief efforts.
Bowdoin for Haiti is coordinated through the Joseph McKeen Center for the Common Good, which provides opportunities for students to discover the ways in which their talents, passions and academic pursuits can be used for the benefit of society through public engagement.
