CNN Highlights HeadBlade Inventor Todd Greene '89

Story posted January 14, 2010

Todd Greene '89, whose HeadBlade invention changed the way folks shave their heads, is highlighted in CNN's "Going Solo" series about the options facing telecommuters, entrepreneurs and home-based business owners in the age of the Internet and innovative portable technology.

The HeadBlade, an ergonomically designed blade that makes head shaving easier, was selected as one of the 10 best designs of 2000 by Time magazine.

In coverage on CNN's Web site, Greene discusses the pitfalls common to would-be inventors and entrepreneurs and how fear, in addition to faith, can be useful.

"I thought I'm either going to have to do this or I'm going to have to be prepared, five or 10 years from now, to go into a store and see somebody else making money with the same idea," Greene tells CNN.
