Video: Why Serve the Common Good?

Story posted October 05, 2009

Leaders of the College's 30 student-led service organizations articulate why they direct their time, energy and talents to serving the common good.

The student leaders gathered September 1-2, 2009, for the annual Bowdoin Volunteer Corps leader retreat.

Each year, through these and other programs, Bowdoin students partner with community organizations, contributing more than 40,000 hours of service.

The groups are advised by the Joseph McKeen Center for the Common Good.
