Story posted June 11, 2009

Oluwatobi "Tobi" Olasunkanmi '12 has been chosen by Oxfam America to participate in the international relief and development organization's CHANGE initiative.

Students commit to engage with Oxfam for an entire academic year beginning with a week-long advocacy and leadership training program focused on climate change, hunger, poverty and emergency response.

The purpose of the week is to develop students' skills and expand their knowledge of global issues. After the training, CHANGE leaders return to their campuses to engage others in the issues they've explored.

Olasunkanmi is one of 50 students chosen from across the country to participate.
