For the third time in just over a month, Professor of Gender and Women's Studies Jennifer Scanlon and her book, Bad Girls Go Everywhere: The Life of Helen Gurley Brown (Oxford University Press, March 2009), are mentioned in The New York Times.
The latest article, "Bad Girls, Good Sense: A Helen Gurley Brown Quiz," appears in the May 24, 2009, Week in Review section.
Reviews of Scanlon's book appeared in the April 22 and April 26 editions of the Times.

Vice President Joe Biden's trip to Lebanon is the subject of a May 23, 2009, Los Angeles Times article that features insight from Assistant Professor of Government Shelley Deane.
"I think the Obama administration doesn't have a Plan B should the opposition win [in Lebanon], and they'll hedge their bets until the Iranian election results emerge to see how best to play their Middle East hand," says Deane in the article, which mentions that she is visiting Lebanon.
