New York Cool in Maine Sunday Telegram

The Museum of Art's latest exhibition, New York Cool: Painting and Sculpture from the NYU Art Collection, is the subject of a spread rich with images on the front page of the Maine Sunday Telegram's April 19, 2009, Audience section.

The article calls the exhibition "a blockbuster, full of major works by artists who have become the biggest names in 20th-century American art."

"I think it probably fair to say that Maine has seen few exhibitions of this size from such an important period of art," says Museum of Art Interim Director Clifton Olds in the article.
