Thomas and a friend, Seth Bradbury, are making the journey together. They planned stops in Portland and Portsmouth, N.H., that doubled as fundraising events for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Maine.
Thomas, an experienced triathlete, is the founder of Tri-Maine Productions, a Portland-based company that promotes sporting events.
