Watch Online: The POW, the Bracelet and the Journey

Government Department Academic Coordinator Lynne Atkinson '81 has had quite a week.

On Sunday, March 29, she flew to Florida to meet the American POW whose name was etched into a bracelet she wore 40 years ago when she was a young girl.

Atkinson's colleagues in the Government Department helped make it happen, taking up a collection to help pay for her trip south.

On Wednesday, Atkinson met her POW, Capt. Luis "Jerry" Chirichigno, for the first time.

Atkinson is now back from Florida and has shared details of her emotional journey with a news crew from WCSH.
