Thomas Marcelle '84 Tapped for Federal Judgeship

Thomas James Marcelle '84 has been nominated by President Bush to be a federal judge.

Marcelle, who lives in Slingerlands, N.Y., has worked as counsel to the Republican Party since 2002 while maintaining his private practice, which he established in 1991. Marcelle specializes in election and constitutional law.

His nomination goes to the Senate for confirmation.

If confirmed, Marcelle would take a seat on the bench in the Northern District of New York being vacated by Frederick J. Scullin Jr.
