Lindsay McNamara '09, a member of Bowdoin's 2007 NCAA Championship-winning field hockey team, is featured in the December 3, 2007, issue of Sports Illustrated. McNamara is profiled in the magazine's weekly "Faces in the Crowd" feature.

McNamara capped a spectacular season with a hat trick in the NCAA Championship game, delivering the College's first national title.
The NESCAC Player of the Year and First-Team All-American set the program's career and single-season scoring records this year and broke the NCAA Tournament record with nine goals in four post-season games. Bowdoin finished the year with a perfect 20-0 record and defeated Middlebury in the NCAA Final, 4-3.
