McNamara capped a spectacular season with a hat trick in the NCAA Championship game, delivering the College's first national title.

The NESCAC Player of the Year and First-Team All-American set the program's career and single-season scoring records this year and broke the NCAA Tournament record with nine goals in four post-season games. Bowdoin finished the year with a perfect 20-0 record and defeated Middlebury in the NCAA Final, 4-3.
