Restaurants and Institutions Magazine Features Bowdoin Dining

Bowdoin Dining Service, recipient of a 2007 Restaurants & Institutions 2007 Ivy Award, is profiled in the May 1 issue of the magazine. The article commends Bowdoin Dining for its local sourcing, fresh ingredients, global flavors, social responsibility and connecting with customers.

The article also mentions Mark McGranaghan '09, the man behind The Bowdoin Gourmet, a blog that explores Bowdoin Dining from a studentís perspective. Read the article.

Recognizing excellence and high achievement in food and service standards, the 2007 Ivy Awards will be presented at the Field Museum in Chicago on May 20.

Bowdoin College's Dining Service has received high praise for years. It has been awarded "Best Campus Food in the Country" two years in a row (2007 and 2006) by the Princeton Review. Bowdoin also won that honor in 2004.
