Bowdoin Women in Business Convention: March 31, 2007
Story posted March 12, 2007
The Bowdoin Women in Business Club extends an invitation to all students interested in business, communications, government, non-profits, and medicine to attend a brunch and networking event with alumnae and guests of the College on Saturday March 31, 2007, at Bowdoin College.
The First Annual Bowdoin Women in Business Convention is planned, organized, sponsored, and run by students who are a part of the Bowdoin Women in Business Club, with the help and guidance of Karen Mills.
The mission of the Convention is to help talented Bowdoin students build successful careers and learn about different areas of business. This year, the convention focuses on the intersection between business and the communications and non-profit sectors.
Guest alumnae speakers will talk about their career paths, and share their views on how Bowdoin's Liberal Arts Education and its emphasis on Common Good have contributed to their success.
