Waynflete School Receives 2005 Abraxas Award from Bowdoin

Bowdoin College has given this year's Abraxas Award to Waynflete School in Portland, Maine.

The Abraxas Award is given annually to the secondary school sending two or more graduates to Bowdoin, whose representatives maintain the highest standing during their first year at the College. The two Waynflete graduates are Morgan Elizabeth Finch of Falmouth, Maine, and Katherine N. Armstrong of Scarborough, Maine.

The Abraxas Award, established in 1915 by the Abraxas Society, is an engraved pewter plate, which will be presented to Waynflete School.
