"I noticed a small trickle of water began to enter the room.... More water is coming...."
A first-hand account of the Indian Ocean tsunami is being shared by Tristan Gleason '02, one of the 2004 ISLE Program assistants. What Gleason describes took place between 9–9:30 a.m. on the morning of December 26th, at a South Ceylon restaurant and guesthouse in Unawatuna.
Gleason is still in Sri Lanka (as of January 20, 2005), assisting in the relief effort. He promises to finish the story as soon as time allows.
