The Bachelorette's Choice? Ian McKee '98
Story posted February 26, 2004
Bowdoin alumnus Ian McKee, Class of 1998, was the last man standing on the latest installment of ABC-TV's hit reality show "The Bachelorette."
Actually, he was kneeling. After being informed by Meredith Phillips on the show's finale that he was her choice, Ian got down on one knee, presented her with a ring, and proposed. Meredith accepted.
Over the last seven weeks, viewers have watched Meredith get to know 25 prospective dates, then narrow her prospects down from 25 to 15 to 10, six, four, three, two, and finally the one who "captures her heart."
Ian McKee is "the one."
An economics major at Bowdoin, Ian McKee currently works in equity research sales and resides in New York City.
