Story posted October 22, 2002

Bowdoin's Dean of Admissions Jim Miller appeared Tuesday morning (October 22) on the nation's top-rated morning show, "TODAY" (NBC-TV), to discuss the SAT and its importance in the college admissions process.

Pointing out that Bowdoin has been SAT-optional for more than 30 years, Miller offered advice on how high school students can prepare for and do well on the tests that are still required for admission to most U.S. colleges and universities.
