Abraxas Award Presented to Albany Academy for Girls

Bowdoin College has given this year's Abraxas Award to the Albany Academy for Girls in Albany, N.Y.
Two of the Academy's graduates, Madeleine Robillard '05 of Selkirk and Mary Louisa Wright '05 of Berne, earned a combined grade point average of 3.723 during the 2001-02 academic year at Bowdoin.
The Abraxas Award is given annually to the secondary school sending two or more graduates to Bowdoin, whose representatives maintain the highest standing during their first year at the College.
The Award, established in 1915 by the Abraxas Society, is an engraved pewter plate, which will be presented to Albany Academy for Girls.
