Faculty and Students to Present at Geological Society Meetings

Several Bowdoin faculty and students will be presenting their research at the 37th annual meeting of the Northeastern Section of the Geological Society of America being held March 25-27 in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Hosts for the meeting - which is being held at the Sheraton Springfield Hotel - are Mount Holyoke College, Greenfield Community College, Smith College, Amherst College, and Hampshire College.

Approximately 875 geoscientists are expected to attend.

Bowdoin participants are Bridgid C. O’Connor ’02; Michael P. Terry, visiting assistant professor of geology; Lindsay Ann Szramek ’02; Rachel J. Beane, assistant professor of geology; and T.J. Fudge ’02.
