Come and learn about Bowdoin's exciting new study abroad program in St. Petersburg, Russia. Scheduled to begin in the Spring semester of 2003, the program will offer students an opportunity to live for a semester in the beautiful and historic imperial capital of Russia, exploring the city's great museums, its turbulent history, and its rich cultural and artistic life, while studying the Russian language. Classes will be taught by Bowdoin faculty and experienced local language instructors. No prior knowledge of Russian is required.
The information session will be held on Monday, February 25 at 7 PM at WRC (Women's Resource Center) Lounge, 24 College Street.
Bowdoin students who had studied in Russia will talk about their experiences, and Russian department faculty will be on hand to answer any questions. Refreshments/snacks will be served!
