Bowdoin Senior to Give Piano Recital

April 27, 1999, BRUNSWICK, Maine -- Bowdoin senior Rebecca Hall will give a piano recital at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, in Kresge Auditorium in the Visual Arts Center. It is free and open to the public.
Hall will play Ginastera's "Danza de la moza donosa" from "Danzas Argentinas pour piano;" Aaron Copland's "The Cat and the Mouse;" Debussy's "Reflets dans l'eau" from "Images I;" Gershwin's "Preludes for Piano;" Rachmaninoff's "Prelude in D Major" and Robert Schumann's "Carnaval."
Hall, of Storrs, Conn., is majoring in biology with a minor in music. She will be spending this summer on Kent Island studying avian ecology as part of an honors project. She began studying piano at age six. She also has been a member of the Bowdoin College Chamber Choir.
The recital is sponsored by the music department.
