Bowdoin Senior to Present Voice Recital

BRUNSWICK, Maine -- Bowdoin College senior Mollie Mulligan will present a vocal recital on Friday, April 24, at 7:30 p.m. in Room 101, Gibson Hall. The public is welcome to attend free of charge.

The program includes works by Carissimi, Caldara, Rckert and John Dowland; Irish folk songs; a vocal duet; and a work with violin.

Others participating in this program are Sean Fleming, accompanist; Stephanie Misono, violin; and vocalist Linda Blanchard.

Mulligan is a biology and French major from Cleveland Heights, Ohio. She studies with Blanchard, adjunct instructor of voice at Bowdoin.

Mulligan sings with the St. Cecilia Chamber Choir and has in the past sung with the Bowdoin Chorus. She plans to pursue a career as a nurse practitioner.
