Orchestra Presents Spring Concert

April 28, 1998 Brunswick, Maine-- The Bowdoin College Orchestra will present its spring semester concert on Saturday, May 2, at 7:30 p.m. in Pickard Theater, Memorial Hall, Bowdoin College.
The public is invited free of charge.
Works to be performed are Mozart's 'Symphony No. 40 in G Major'; 'Rainbow,' a work by Elliott Schwartz, Bowdoin professor of music; and Borne's 'Carmen Fantasy' with soloist Nolle Wylie '98.
The orchestra is directed by Paul Ross. Wylie is a senior music major from northern California. She studies with Jeffrey Khaner, solo flutist with the Philadelphia Orchestra. Wylie made her solo orchestral debut at age 12 and has subsequently appeared with orchestras on both coasts as a soloist and as principal flute.
