The BCLT programs housed in Hawthorne-Longfellow Library 112 offer services for students to improve as learners (academic coaching), problem-solvers (quantitative reasoning), and communicators (academic communication and writing), and for faculty and staff to develop as educators. In addition to serving as a location for peer tutoring, academic advising, coaching, and teaching we welcome students to work in our space during open hours.

Course instructors have access to individual consultations with BCLT staff, workshops, book groups, faculty learning communities, class visit protocols, pedagogical partnerships with student learning and writing assistants, and a year-long cohort program, collaborations with faculty at Bates and Colby Colleges, and curated resources on the scholarship.
