Robin and Daniel Greenspun greatly value opportunities to help others change their lives through education. They recently established the Greenspun Family Scholarship Fund to fully cover the tuition costs of a Bowdoin student for all four years, so that financial need would be completely alleviated.
The establishment of this fund also reflects the family’s strong belief in the importance of diversity, both in the classroom and beyond. Daughter Moira of the Class of 2006 cherished her Bowdoin experience as a visual arts and art history double major and Italian minor. Her parents saw particular value in the wealth of opportunities Moira found to interact with students of different backgrounds. The scholarship ensures that future students will continue to experience socioeconomic diversity during their college years.
In addition to establishing this fund, Robin and Daniel have been instrumental in initiating important cultural events at Bowdoin, including bringing Julian Schnabel, a highly regarded artist, to campus.
