Support Bowdoin

What is the Alumni Fund?

Alumni

The Alumni Fund impacts the Bowdoin experience every day. Composed of annual gifts from alumni designated for current use, the Alumni Fund augments and supports the lives of every student on campus. During fiscal year 2013 alone, an impressive 59% of alumni raised over $8.5 million – a remarkable investment in today’s exceptional students and faculty.

How Does Bowdoin Use the Funds?

The Alumni Fund bolsters all areas of Bowdoin’s annual operating budget. One clear example of your gift at work?  Gifts to the Alumni Fund comprise $2,127 of the average $35,450 grant received by nearly half of Bowdoin students. Your gift to the Alumni Fund ensures that a Bowdoin education remains accessible to the most talented students in the world.

Direct Your Gift

Unrestricted gifts to the Alumni Fund allow Bowdoin to most effectively underwrite teaching and learning. But if one aspect of the Bowdoin experience is especially important to you,  we invite you to designate your gift to that area.
