What is the Alumni Fund?

The Alumni Fund impacts the Bowdoin experience every day. Composed of annual gifts from alumni designated for current use, the Alumni Fund augments and supports the lives of every student on campus.

How Does Bowdoin Use the Funds?

The Alumni Fund bolsters all areas of Bowdoin’s annual operating budget. Bowdoin uses these gifts where they are most needed and one example of this is supporting Bowdoin's 100% need-blind, no-loan financial aid where over 45% of students receive a grant and the average grant is over $43,000 per year.

Direct Your Gift

Unrestricted gifts to the Alumni Fund allow Bowdoin to most effectively underwrite teaching and learning. But if one aspect of the Bowdoin experience is especially important to you, we invite you to designate your gift to that area.
