Fabritius Named Dean at Centre

Stephanie Fabritius, associate provost and professor of biology at Southwestern University and a former ACE fellow at Bowdoin, has been named dean of the college at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. Fabritius will assume her new position on July 1. Her official title will be vice president for academic affairs and dean of the College.

Bowdoin served as host institution for Fabritius during her fellowship in 2002-03. The ACE Fellows Program, established in 1965 by the American Council on Education (ACE), is designed to strengthen institutions and leadership in American higher education by preparing promising senior faculty and administrators for more responsible positions.

Centre College announced the Fabritius appointment on April 6.
