Bowdoin Democrats On Hand for First Lady's Maine Visit

Five members of the Bowdoin Democrats got the chance to see Michelle Obama and shake her hand during the first lady's visit to Maine Friday, September 30, 2011.

Stephen Bittel '78 helped coordinate the opportunity for Ronald Cervantes '15, Andrew Miller-Smith '15, Sophia Peaslee '13, Hugh Ratcliffe '15 and Tasha Yektayi '15 to be at Portland's Ocean Gateway for Mrs. Obama's appearance at a joint fundraiser for the Obama re-election campaign and the National Democratic Committee.
